How to Make Money Using Get Paid To Websites: Beginner’s Guide
I’ve been writing about Get Paid to Websites ever since I’ve started Dosh Dosh, although I’ve stopped tracking the industry for some time, because I’ve developed a greater interest in internet marketing and the building of websites for profit.
New Get Paid To websites are frequently set up by entrepreneurs interested in making some money. While the barrier of entry is low, the GPT industry is already saturated and heavy on competition.
However, some of the early pioneers in the get paid to industry like Cashcrate and CashonTap are still around and their member base has grown considerably. Other less fortunate sites were not sustainable and shut down soon after their birth.
I thought it’ll be helpful if I revisit the topic of Get Paid to Websites, which is actually a proven method of making money online and one that is particularly useful for those who are unfamiliar with the process of building websites or selling online.
Introduction to Get Paid to Websites
Get-Paid-To websites can be considered the middlemen between advertisers and you, the end-user or consumer. Advertisers pay these companies to generate leads and attract potential customers onto their services.
These sites will pass a portion of what they earn to you when you patronize or visit the advertisers. This mostly entails performing specific actions such as:
- Visiting a website to complete a survey
- Reading Email advertisements
- Referring a friend to purchase a product
- Opening up a free user account on the website
- Purchasing a refundable trial product or subscription
- Giving an email address for a newsletter
After doing these offers, you’ll get paid for each of them that is approved. For example, an offer might state that you will earn $21 if you sign up for a 7 day free trial with an online dating website.
Be sure to cancel your 7 day free trial after the offer is approved by the Get Paid To website and you’ll essentially be getting $21 for free. When it comes to Get Paid to websites, you’ll stand to make a lot more money when you own a credit card.
Free offers are also available for those who prefer not to use any credit cards or sign up for any trial-based offers. These are low priced and usually involve $0.50 to $2 offers. They are less readily available, although this depends on the website.
Who Can Use Get Paid To Websites?
Get Paid To Websites have geographic restrictions that are based on their business locations. Most of them are only available for U.S residents, although there are some who cater for international users.
There aren’t many international offers in these websites and I can only conclude that users based in the U.S are the ones who will make the most money from Get Paid To websites.
However, one way to bypass this limitation is to concentrate your efforts on referring active U.S-based users and earning commissions from their completed offers.
Why Should I Use Get Paid to Websites?
Here’s the main benefit of using Get Paid to (GPT) Websites: You can make money even if you don’t have your own website or know any specific skills. You can do this online from home and what you really need is just willingness to spend time completing offers.
A credit card and a personal webpage for referrals would be ideal if you’re interested in making more money but they are not entirely necessary. A simple paper or online organizer/spreadsheet to record down offers down or payments due would be very helpful when you are actively using GPT sites.
Income generated from these get-paid-to websites can be substantial. According to the forum threads and blogs I’ve read over the past few months, you can make a minimum of $100 to $2,000+ a month. From what I know about get paid to websites, this amount of monthly income is possible and can be achieved with effort.

Are they Internet Scams?
There are always scams when it comes to making money online. Cheaters and unscrupulous thieves exist in the Get Paid to industry as well. Nonetheless, there are many Get Paid To websites which are legitimate and highly credible.
They are staffed by responsible business men and women, who will listen to your feedback and pay you on time. I would advise you to go with the more established GPT sites, primary because they have a history of paying their users. Like everything else, be wary of new websites and learn how to work within the GPT rules.
I would also highly recommend getting a throwaway email address and a free private phone number online to avoid sales calls or junk mail from over aggressive advertisers. Clearing your cookies often before and after you use these websites is also important as well.
Making Money with Get Paid to Websites
I would recommend sticking with a few get paid to websites instead of actively using all of them. The main reason is that use of many websites will inevitably lead to the completion of duplicate/similar offers, which may result in you not getting paid for the legitimate offers that you’ve completed so far.
Not to mention that tracking multiple websites and payments on a daily basis can be rather tiring or difficult, even though you may have all the time to do so. I do however recommend signing up for the websites and using their affiliate programs.
Get Paid to websites have lucrative affiliate programs which will give you truly recurring and passive income, once you have amassed a large number of active users who in turn recruit other users.
I receive a steady amount of monthly commissions from doing absolutely no work at all; without even logging into or using the Get Paid to websites. This is something anyone else can achieve as well.
Dosh Dosh’s List of 23 Get Paid to Websites
I recently spent some time doing research on the GPT industry and have made a list of some of the current and active websites, with some of them coming from this forum thread. These are sites which pay, according to the testimonials I’ve read.
I have not tried all of them personally, but have included links to reviews I’ve written on some of them. There are also no affiliate links on this page because I don’t use affiliate links for websites I have no personal experience with and hence, cannot fully endorse. This link policy may change as I gradually test and use each site.
Consider this a resource list instead. If you’re interested in using these Get Paid to websites to generate income, I recommend doing more research to ascertain each site’s credibility and value. Alternatively, another easy method would be to complete small offers on the sites to to gauge if they really pay on time.
If you are completely new to the Get Paid to industry and want to get started, I would suggest going with established websites like Cashcrate or CashonTap in order to get a feel of how GPT works. I can personally vouch for both of these websites as I have been paid by them many times over.

Get Paid to Websites on this List
Get Paid to Websites are created quite often and it will be difficult to include all of them on this list. The integrity and quality of the sites on this list is important to me; sites mentioned must prove that they have a track record of paying their users.
If you want to suggest legitimate get paid to websites which meet this criteria, please send me an email instead of leaving it in the comments section. I will need to look at the site before I consider including it on the list here.
Some of these sites will be removed if they go bust or lose credibility so please also send me an email if you have proof that any of these sites are defrauding or not paying their users.

That was a great post, and how you can build up such a list is amazing. How much time do you spend making posts, usually? Like this one for instance.
Great list, I had no idea there were so many! I use Treasure Trooper and Cash Crate.
Awesome compilation. Really appreciate the effort you must have put into this.
Huh, I don’t think I’ve messed with (or even seen) any of those. I’ll have to look at CashCrate sometime just for kicks.
Good job compiling all this info, I don’t have much time so I’d like to focus on one, maybe CashCrate since this one seems to be referenced the most. But I’m wondering, is it mainly signing up for trial offers, and doesn’t it get cumbersome canceling them out? Anyone with experience on this please advise, I appreciate it.
I am impressed, first with such a complete list and second with the amount of effort you put into this post.
I am a little embarrassed as well. I have been into internet marketing since ‘97 and did not even know this much about Get paid to: Websites. You have increased my curiosity enough that I am going to check out a couple from your list.
A lot of the sites I have used will not give manual credit of free offers. One even gos as far as to say you can’t use prepaid credit/debit/gift cards.
Wow I am very impress at the effort you put into this post!
I also like the fact that you use picture.
However, to me, these website suck p too much of your time and isn’t worth it in the long run. I rather create my own product or promote something else and drive traffic to it.
Time is very valuable to all of us and if you hate wasting time, I don’t think using Get Paid To website is a very good idea.
@Carrie
Yup.. most of the big money comes from either signing up for trial offers and canceling them. And yes, it can get rather cumbersome and you’ll really need to get an organizer or calender of some sort to mark the last dates for cancellation.
The other way to make money would be to focus on the referral programs, which can allow you to generate income easily.
@samsara
I’ve heard that as well about prepaid debit or credit cards. Some of the GPT sites are pretty strict but so far I haven’t run into any major problems with them.
@Sean
If you’re into affiliate marketing, Get Paid To websites are actually an excellent way to make some passive income. Build an active downline and you’re all set for monthly commissions.
Hi! Great job putting the sites together! Just wondering how you determined the order of this list? I love squishycash, they have the most freebies and the best contests! Glad to see them on the list, just wish they were higher! Thanks for all the info though.
You amaze me with the content of your posts. It usually takes me at least an hour to put together a mediocre post with a few links and an image or two. Thank you for the effort you put into giving us this information. Bookmarked and Stumbled.
@Carrie, yes indeed there’s work involved … many of these deals provide money with no investment, but not necessarily with no work. Something as simple as a stack of 3×5 cards will work.
Also, along with Catherine I was wondering about the orer of the list and, may I add along with Ad Tracker how much I appreciate the work you put into this. “I coulda wroye the same thing” … if I had a week … thanks
Hi, I am new to this, I have to leave my job due to disability at the end of September and I am desperate to bring in cash from a job at home, at the moment I am reading emails for TesasTeaMails, I get an awful lot of emails daily off them, and PTR Trading, who I don’t know much about, their payout per email is high and someone told me that means they don’t pay, surely not? I like being with them and I get emails daily off them, though I haven’t reached the minimum payout level yet as I cannot afford to upgrade yet, I will let you know if and when they pay me. Does anyone know of any other legit sites that operate internationally as I live in the South of Ireland.
I have been using Rapidloot the most, I’ve been paid over $450 from them so far. But I’ll also try some of the others on your list, thanks!
What about “get paid to” fill forms? Are they any sites like Email Money Back? They were a fantastic site, and the guy that runs it was honest and paid on time all the time. CashCrate only allows a one time shot on their highest paying offers. Once those are blanked…then you have to resort to all the other kind that require sign-ups and stuff. Might be a good idea to let people know, that when you complete “Credit and Credit Card” offers…they are hitting your Credit Report as well. This can be a real problem if you are trying to get a home loan or a significant loan. These are considered what is termed “hard” credit inquiries and they do “ding” your credit score.
That post was great. Thanks for all the information given regarding the various internet based money making programs
Regards
Jagan
That list is great, and the information you wrote is incredible, the GPT market is getting crowded and there are new websites popping up each day, unfortunately many of those are poor-maintained, provide false info and they are disappeared after a month or two. That’s the reason why many reputable Get Paid website, for instance SignOffers are taking action to provide better service and i am not just talking about us but about many others as well i.e cash crate and maybe treasure trooper. Next time anyone visits a GPT site, try to look at it as your new home for a long time.
Great link!…i would like to get some more details on this one. If possible please revert back to my email id
A good one is Hits4Pay!
this is a very informative post, especially for beginners.. I have been indulged in GPT sites but most of them has offers that does not apply in my country.
this is a great blog, your posts are very informative and very detailed… keep up the good work…
i have to have a link to this blog
Great Article! You guys should check out Gypsy Jackpot. I’ve been getting paid monthly by them for quite awhile. gypsyjackpot.com
Hi,
I was just wondering if you would be interested in promoting my GPT site on your website. I’ve been operating ECashOffers.com since July ‘07 and our instant payment system makes the site a big hit with referrals. I’d really appreciate it if you’d join. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
Thank You,
Derek
Amazed!! But unfortunately 99% of the sites did’nt accepts internationally… still I have to wait for sites offers international…
