How to Transform Content and Yourself into a Profitable Business: A Free Report

free reportThere are a great many ways to make money on the internet and all of them involve some selling of some sort. Be it a product or ad space on your websites.

Most bloggers generate income by providing great amounts of content daily for free and monetizing through ad sponsorships and programs like Google Adsense.

On the other hand, some internet marketers prefer to create an informational product and establish themselves as an expert, in order to generate sales.

Instead of continually creating content and publishing it for free, they market paid content/products while constantly getting new buyers or supporters through a robust affiliate program.

You can certainly continue to blog or write as usual, in the hope that the search traffic you attract will allow you to make some money through your on-site ads.

But consider this: What if you could make a lot more money doing what you already do (creating content), by simply having something to sell as well?

Brian Clark elaborates on this in his free report on making money online.

So, blogging can be vitally important, but most likely it will open doors for you that lead to revenue or help you promote things you are selling, as opposed to generating a ton of money from advertising.

When you have something to sell, you have leverage. You don’t necessarily need traffic, because you can borrow someone else’s audience as long as you can offer that publisher a compelling deal.If you have something to sell that is of high quality and relevant, people with audiences want to hear from you.

Along the way, you are building an audience as well, but here’s the key difference. You have an audience of demonstrated buyers. This crowd has the ability to make you really wealthy.

Teaching Sells: Making Money from Your Content and Personal Skills

Brian Clark from Copyblogger recently contacted me and asked if I would be interested in a joint venture deal for his latest project with Tony Clark, which is a paid training course on ways to generate some real online income.

He initially offered me a draft copy of his free report and I read it last weekend. The 24 page report is excellent and really offers some good information which explains how bloggers, writers and entrepreneurs of all types can really benefit from just having something to sell.

Teaching Sells

I’ve been a fan of Brian’s work for some time already so I thought I’ll just help to promote the site a little (hence the referral links). I do highly recommend that you get a copy of the 24 page report as it’ll give a more thorough introduction on how you can make money.

There is nothing to buy at the moment so you’ll only have to subscribe to the mailing list, which you can opt-out of anytime. As most of you would know, I only write about something on Dosh Dosh if I feel it benefits you as a reader.

And this is something that appears to have a lot of potential, especially because it helps you to look at your personal brand, current blogging career or business model in a new light.

I’m actually really looking forward to the program when it launches, which promises to teach you the following (and a lot more):

  • How to target a vast audience with a niche angle

  • How to have a unique, entertaining approach to content development

  • How to create content that sells itself (without long copy sales letters)

  • How to effectively leverage the audiences of others with win-win proposals

  • How to develop multi-format content with free and inexpensive tools

  • How to build airtight paid membership websites

  • How to choose the best business model for your topic and goals

  • How to increase profits with advanced training and a la carte sales

  • How to further leverage your skills as a highly paid consultant

  • Sounds like a good read, I’ll have to give it a shot. That first point, targeting a vast audience with a niche market sounds like a key point in itself. I am on my way to get it, thanks.

  • Just out of curiosity, what is the rest of the following point supposed to say?

    Travis,

The ‘last word’ for that point is ‘tools’… it was cut off and I’ve just fixed it… thanks. :-)

  • Thanks for clearing that up!

  • Maki- I just finished reading “Teaching Sells,” and I really have to thank you for passing this on. I truly can say that I haven’t read such a clear, concise, and honest ebook on making money in sometime. It’s amazing how well you can teach someone when you remove all the sales hype. Brian and Tony really hit this one on the head. I’m on their email list now but please keep me posted. I really appreciate this!

  • I also read the ebook/report and it all sounds good.

I don’t know much about Brian but I do enjoy reading the posts at copyblogger. I might have to re-read the ebook because even though I agree that it all sounds good it didn’t do much for me besides leaving an “empty space” of knowledge that I do not yet have.

But I guess that was the point all the way :)

  • I think Brian is tremendously smart, and this report is really compelling. I’m very curious to see where this goes.

  • Sounds Like a great report! thanks for sharing.

  • Interesting article. I’m going to check that report and hope to find some useful tips instead of standard beating arround the bush.

  • Definitely, having something to sell takes a little of the pressure off of you to do the actual selling, especially if you have an affiliate program and your sales page is on your blog.
That way you not only have an army of affiliates sending people to your site to buy, but also potential subscribers.

  • Excellent info, thanks for sharing!

  • This is great advice on internet marketing. There certainly are new ways to online marketing nowadays. There are free traffic sites really work if you know how to work them. Thanks for this! :)

  • sound like a great book. thank you.

  • I have downloaded the book from a link which I came across the other day but haven’t actually read the book. Now that you have recommended it, I will read it. Thanks
