26 Affiliate Marketing and Webmaster Forums to help you Make Money Online

make-money-online.jpgOne of the best ways to learn how to make lots of money online is to interact with like-minded individuals who are equally dedicated to making money on the internet. Nobody knows every single trick in the book and making sure your efforts are profitable in the long run requires some knowledge of proven strategies or methods for optimum results.

The best and easiest way to develop this knowledge is to visit forums that offer valuable information on topics like affiliate marketing, search engine optimization, Pay per Click Advertising and freelancing.

Webmaster forums like Digital Point and Site Point teach you how to create, promote and monetize a website. Affiliate marketing forums like Wicked Fire will give you the lowdown on effective ways to maximize your affiliate commissions.

Seven Ways Forums can help you make money online

Here are seven specific ways in which forum can contribute to your goal of making money online.

  • Marketing and Promotion. Forums are a great way to promote your online business, brand or service because you’ll get to reach a large relevant audience easily by simply contributing to the community.

  • Networking and Business Opps. You might just meet a fellow blogger, webmaster or business partner that wants to collaborate on a specific project or venture.

  • Scam Verification. Wanna know if a dubious looking website actually pays its users? Forums are the best place to check.

  • Referral & Affiliate Booster. Forums are a perfect channel to promote your affiliate or referral link. Heavily trafficked forums with thousands of readers are an excellent way to get successful referral conversions. Just remember not to spam or you’ll easily get banned.

  • Free Signature Backlinks. Signature links from reputable forums will help new websites to be indexed by search engines. You can also sell your signature links for money or use it to promote your website or affiliate programs.

  • Money Making Knowledge. Knowing is half the battle won. Forums are great ways to discover new ways or methods of making money online.

  • Troubleshooting & Appraisals. Maybe you don’t understand why your Adsense CTR is so dreadful, or why your blog has terrible search engine rankings. Forums are an easy way to refine your money making techniques or troubleshoot technical issues.

Dosh Dosh’s list of 26 Forums to Help you Make Money Online.

I’ve only included forums which have a decent number of members because a large member base means that a greater amount of potential money making knowledge will be available.

Forums that don’t cover monetization and ways to make money are not included in this list because I want to keep it focused on forums that directly relate to either making money online or working from home.

I’ve also categorized the forums according to their specific niche. So pick the one you like and give it a visit. I highly recommend checking out Digital Point (#1), Wicked Fire (#9) , Earners Forum (#6) and ABest Web (#11) if you don’t have time to visit all of the forums on the list.

  • Dude, this list is HUGE !!! If someone who is new on the internet and is decided to make money online see this post all his motivation is gone.

You just have to stick on what is more important, and prioritize, because we have only 24 hours.A top 5 would be better.

  • Haha .. I see your point Michael. I’ve already mentioned some forums in my post (Digital Point, Wicked Fire..) that you should visit if you don’t have time.

Everyone has different ways of making money online and not all the forums are same, that’s why a comprehensive list will help. If you don’t find what you need, you can move on to another forum :)

  • Hi Maki,

Thanks for mentioning the 5 Star Affiliate Forum.
    We appreciate it!

  • Awesome post. Thanks for the great resources.

  • Thanks for the list. Unbelievable.

  • Hi Maki
I just stumbled on to your site. Lots of info here, thank you. I will enjoy spending some time in here and reading. Great list of great sources in this article also. Good job!

  • Whilst it’s a long list at least everyone now has a central resource to refer back to when they want new and fresh ideas. Finding up to date and relevant information is always a challenge and this goes some way to helping in that regard. Funnily enough over at Mike’s Money Making Mission blog he is giving some hints on how to increase visibility so this fits in nicely

  • I’ve been on SPF for more then 5 years now, such a wealth of knowledge. Another worth checking out, simply because buying and selling ad space is so easy there, is http://www.webhostingtalk.com.

  • Excellent list, Maki! I’m glad it’s a BIG list… not every forum topic will appeal to all of your readers, so by offering so many in a variety of areas, everyone is sure to find something of interest! :-)

I’d like to emphasize (for people new to forums) that most forums do not take kindly to spam. Unless they have a section for marketing (such as the Free Classifieds section of SSWT), don’t pitch your products or services! Contribute to the conversations, ADD VALUE, and other readers will check out your site (through your signature link as Maki says).

Thanks for the great resource, Maki!

  • Good information!

  • Awesome piece of information! Thanks for the hard work doing it!

I am always on site: 1 and 17!

I am bookmarking this site now

  • @Mike Panic .. thanks for the heads up on Web Hosting Talk.. it looks like a busy little forum.

@Louiss.. I’m a firm believer in bigger is better. More forums = more options = more knowledge = more money. :)

  • Wow, this had to have taken a lot of time Maki. Thanks for your hard work. I’m considering adding you to my blogroll.

Since I don’t have a ton of time, I will be on your number 1 choice mostly.

    Thanks.

  • All I can say is, you must work like a dog 24/7 to post articles like this! Thank you, thank you, thank you! I don’t know how you keep coming up with the good stuff, but it is most appreciated.

    Hey…

OMG I am so so bored! I’ve got no cash so even if I could think of something to do, I probably couldn’t do it anyway.

I watched a episode last night on G4 about cam girls. I might be broke, LOL but not that desperate.

Thanks for this info. It is a good eye opener
