An Introduction to Niche Blogging
I’ve previously mentioned that I was taking up a personal challenge to start seven niche blogs in a week. I thought it might be fitting to provide a brief introduction to niche blogging so everyone can get a clearer idea of what I am doing.
Simply put, niche blogs are blogs which exclusively focus on a specific subsection of a general and usually popular topic.
For example, gadgets and technology is a general topic field and a blog entirely about robotic pets can be called a niche blog.
One of my favorite ways to make money online is to build a flagship website and then extend outwards into relevant or topically different projects. I’m a big fan of diversity when it comes to making money online and I seldom focus exclusively on one niche or target market.
Online job boards have been increasingly used by blogs as an additional monetization strategy. I was checking my Feedburner stats today when I came across an ad for Simply Hired’s Job-a-matic, a website which helps you to make money from your site through ready-made job boards.
