Wordpress Plugin to Increase RSS subscribers
Richard Miller has just released his What Would Seth Godin Do (WWSGD) Wordpress plugin, which is designed to increase your number of RSS subscribers through the use of cookie-based messages that remind each reader to subscribe to your blog feed.
Very useful for repeat visitors to your blog because they’re very likely to subscribe if you just give them a gentle nudge in the right direction. Here’s his explanation of how the plugin works:
I’m sure some of you would have heard of PageFlakes, an personalized start page that you can set to show up whenever you turn on your computer and open your internet browser. This page is customizable and you can use it to display your address book, to-do list, blog or news feeds, calendar and many other widget-like applications.
I’ve been researching on how blogs can be used as a means to promote affiliate programs because I’m pretty interested in how blogs seem to have some natural potential for building stable and long-term relationships between the affiliate and the customer.

I don’t remember where I first came across this tip but I do remember reading that it’ll helped some people get a higher Click Through Rate (CTR) for the ads on their website. I’m not too sure if it actually works for everyone but I do think that it’ll definitely make your ads blend in better with text and media. This Adsense hack works by removing the ‘Advertise on this site‘ text that shows up with every Adsense unit on your website.
